What is the Friends and Family Test?
The Friends and Family Test (FFT) is a feedback tool which offers patients the opportunity to provide feedback about the care and treatment they have received. The FFT combines a simple question, asking patients how likely they would be to recommend the service they have received to their friends and family; with a follow-up question to enable patients to provide further detail about their experience. Practices are free to choose the subject and wording of the second question. The responses to the two questions are anonymous.
Each month the Practice will collect the anonymous data from the responses we receive and submit it to the NHS. We will also post the results to the first question each quarter on this PPG page. The responses made by patients to the second question will be used by the practice to improve its services to patients.
In the third quarter of 2017/2018 (October -December) we received 125 responses:

We are very pleased that 96% of our patients said they were ‘very likely’ or ‘likely’ to recommend us to their family or friends.
Thank you to all who have participated and helped us to make a difference. Please keep your comments coming and together we can hopefully deliver the changes needed to provide you and your family with the best possible health care, advice and support.
