Appointments appointment_1

We regularly review our appointments system and in response to patient comments, make minor changes from time to time. We make every effort to book you in with the Doctor of your choice. However, Doctor's availability differs from week to week depending on clinic, educational and annual leave commitments and we therefore ask that you build up a rapport with more than one Doctor.

Appointment Options

Pre Bookable

A proportion of our appointments are bookable up to 2 weeks in advance. These appointments are for patients who require to be reviewed by Doctors on a regular basis and for those who know there is no urgency to see a Doctor. These appointments are spread throughout the day to accommodate all patients.

We release a number of appointments 24 hours in advance.

Commuter Surgeries

These are available to all those patients whose work commitments make it difficult for them to attend during normal surgery hours. We offer evening surgeries with a GP and a nurse on a Monday evening (18.30 - 19.30) and early morning surgeries on a Tuesday morning (07.10 - 08.00) .

Duty Doctor

For those patients who wish to be seen on the same day. the Duty Doctor will ring you back and assess your clinical need for an appointment. If required you will be booked in to see the the Duty Doctor.

Book Appointments Online

We appreciate that it is not always convenient to telephone to book an appointment. You can now book your GP appointments online, for further information on this service, please ask a member of reception when you are next in the surgery. Telephone Advice

If you wish to speak to a Doctor please ring 01543 416655 before 10.30am. You will be asked for your details and a brief outline of the nature of your call. This information will be given to a Doctor who will respond to your call at their earliest opportunity.
